Join the fun at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at 7 p.m. in the Old Town Hall, 1917 Main Street, Spring Grove, for “If These Walls Could Talk: Stories and Songs Witnessed and Heard by the Old Town Hall.”
Necktie Socials, Fiddlers’ Contest, Welcome Home Dances and somber meetings are just a few of the things the old Town Hall has witnessed inside it’s walls since 1896. But there were many events outside its walls it quietly observed, too.
From bank robberies and horse‐drawn funeral processions to fires and newfangled horseless carriages, the Town Hall has seen it all come and go.
Listen as Storyteller Rich Tobiasz tells these rich stories accompanied by the Georgia Rae Family Band who will also be reenacting an old‐fashioned fiddler’s contest.
There will be free admission and displays of historical photos of Spring Grove. Light refreshments will be served after the performance.
