Autumn Drive 2015

Thousands attended the 28th annual Autumn Drive, braving cool temperatures amid sunny skies. Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and Office Manager Nancy Roozée the Society earned about $2,300 from this year's fest. We sold nearly $500 in quilt raffle tickets for our spectacular Mood Indigo quilt (Indigo is extremely hot right now!) prior to our Nov. 11 drawing. Those visiting our 1885 original Seneca Township Hall also were encouraged to cast their ballots for the 2016 GOP nominee for president. The leading vote-getter was Donald Trump – followed by Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina and Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie and Marco Rubio, respectively.

A special thank you to event chairman Bob Blue and his team, to volunteer Bill Dysart who made emergency repairs to our gas-fired furnace and to our vendors: Gizmo's Gourmet, Beeds & Seeds, Glass Goddess, Donna's Jewelry Box; Laurel's Originals, Ginger Blossom  Good Finds, Prairie Antiques and Kettle Corn Cookery for making this year's event so memorable. See you in 2016!
