The McHenry County Historical Society will host its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, July 24, at the county history museum, 6422 Main St. Local historian and retired educator Robert Frenz will present a free program marking the sesquicentennial of the former Union High School turned museum. Limited, socially distanced seating is available for “Continue to Educate: Union School at 150.” Advanced registration and masks are required.
