2016 Season Opening

       WHAT: "Bottles, Barrels & Brews: McHenry County on Tap," The McHenry County Historical Society is hosting a breweries and taverns exhibit, spanning the 1860s through the repeal of Prohibition in 1933.

       WHEN: Grand opening from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the historical society museum, 6422 Main St., Union. Exhibit runs through December.

       COST: Free admission to the opening reception, fee for craft beer tastings from local craft brewer for those 21 and older. All proceeds benefit the McHenry County Historical Society
